When the glowing orange-red sun rises
I hear the harmonious songs of vibrant flowers,
Melodious birds,
And towering trees surrounding me!
The Wild Roses of Alberta
In the soft breeze of the early morning,
Their delicate petals dance
In my heart, summarily!
While the Great Horned Owls
Watch from lofty branches,
And the tall, stoic Lodgepole Pines
Whisper ancient secrets that charm my very soul!
The Pacific Dogwood Flowers of British Columbia
Their creamy blossoms
Illuminate the Canadian landscape,
They join with the joyful calls of Steller’s Jaybirds!
Whose striking blue feathers
Flash through the air,
The majestic Western Red Cedars stand tall,
Invites me into the gentle embrace of morning light!
Prairie Crocus Flowers of Manitoba
Those delicate blooms peek
Through the melting snow,
Tells me he is coming!
While the silent glide of Great Gray Owls
Captures my admiration,
The resilient White Spruces beckon me
To wander alongside them through the golden fields!
Purple Violet Flowers of New Brunswick
Their rich hues serve as a backdrop,
To the cheerful notes
Of the Black-Capped Chickadee!
And the sturdy Balsam Fir trees
Share a symphony of stars
That twinkle-like dreams at night,
Tells me he is waiting there!
Pitcher Plant Flowers of Newfoundland and Labrador
Resilient yet beautiful,
They accompany me
And friendly Atlantic puffins!
They frolic near coastal cliffs,
While the strong presence of Black Spruce trees
Walks with me at a slow, Reflective pace
Through untamed wilderness!
Mountain Aven Flowers of the Northwest Territories
With their sweet fragrance,
They mingle with the swift movements
Of Gyrfalcon Birds!
They soar overhead,
And the Tamarack Larch trees
They offer companionship in my daily running,
Urge me to explore further!
Mayflowers of Nova Scotia
The charming blooms coat the ground in hues of purple,
While the Osprey Birds
Call out from the sky!
And the sturdy Red Spruce trees
Lay out a clear path for my incredible journey,
It gives me hope,
And it guides me toward new horizons!
Purple Saxifrage Flowers of Nunavut
The resilient, charming flowers
Thrive in the harshest conditions
Alongside the quiet Rock Ptarmigans bird!
While Canadian Inuit Dogs stand by,
Helps me to navigate
The unfamiliar terrain
When I feel lost!
White Trillium Flowers of Ontario
Their pristine blooms greet the dawn,
Accompanied by the haunting calls
Of the Common Loon birds!
The stately Eastern White Pine trees
Provide a daily companionship
That mingles with the whispers of the wind,
They call for a pristine day!
Lady’s Slipper Flowers of Prince Edward Island
Their elegant blooms
Symbolize the beauty of the island
They dance like fairies in the air!
While Blue Jaybirds flit about,
And the strong presence of Red Oaks offers shade,
Guide me through the rhythms
Of day and night!
Blue Flag Flowers of Quebec
These striking blooms
Nestle close to shimmering waters,
They walk with the wind and call me darling!
Drawing the gaze of Snowy Owls perch nearby,
And whiz sharply in the air,
While the graceful Yellow Birches smile gently,
It wraps me in their vibrant embrace!
Western Red Lilies of Saskatchewan
Their fiery colours ignite the landscape,
They sing love songs
And whispers about his coming!
The Sharp-tailed Grouse birds
Display their vibrant courtship dances,
And the resilient White Birch trees
Spark joy deep within my soul!
Fireweed Flowers of Yukon
Their bright, passionate blooms brighten the land,
While the strong Ravens soar
With a sense of purpose!
And the protective Subalpine Fir trees
Cradle me in a serene peace
That invites rest
As the summer night descends!
The deep orange-red sunsets by the waterfront
I hear the same rhythmic songs of kaleidoscopic flowers,
Musical birds,
And towering trees enfolding me!
